I was really inclined to get a set of Pirelli P Zero for the Charger, but after reading the article I'm torn between the Michelin Pilot Sport 3 and Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2. I'm guessing either choice will be the right one. Any of you have had an experience with these tires?
Also, those Kinesis wheels on the XV Charger on top are just begging to go on my car! Same year and almost the same color! Maybe, just maybe...

I would sign a deal to not have kids if it means getting a XV Challenger.

Not sure if this is completely relevant, but I've had three different sets of Pirelli P Zero Neroes on two different cars (2 sets on an 06 Mazda6, 1 set on an 11 GTI) and they've all been garbage. They cup within 1000 miles of use and no amount of rotation, alignments or pressure adjustments can prevent it.
They do have good traction though. lol

Not sure if comfort or noise are much of a consideration in your case, but the Continental ExtremeContact DW that's not part of their test has "max performance" level grip but is much smoother riding and less road noise. You lose some turn-in sharpness in tradeoff.
Otherwise you might as well go whole-hog with something one step away from R-compounds. Stuff like BFG g-Force Rival, Bridgestone RE-11A or RE070, Dunlop ZII, Hankook RS-3, Kumho XS, Toyo R1R, Yoko AD07 or AD08.
Just a thought.

Yea, I read that they don't last very long. It's wasn't an issue for me 'cause the car won't be a daily driver, but now that I've seen what other options I have for about the same price, I'm not considering buying them anymore. By the way, I actually thought about getting the P7 Corsa Classic!

Man, those are a lot of tires, now I feel like I got homework! Hahaha I'm kinda in between about comfort and noise because the car is going to be for cruising and the ocassional burnouts, but than again, it's a 45 year old car, I can only have so much comfort. Guess I'll do as you say and go whole-hog!
I'm loving those BFG g-Force Rival, guess I've got a lot of specs and reviews to read tonight, thanks!
